Israel’s concern over the planting of a mine by Syria near the northern border, the third Syrian act of provocation within two weeks, was conveyed today to American Ambassador Walworth Barbour by Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister. The diplomats met for an hour at the American envoy’s request.
