The Israel Foreign Ministry today lodged a verbal protest with the American Embassy in Israel against the unauthorized flight of a formation of American jet planes over the new city of Jerusalem.
It was reported that the planes were giving flight demonstrations in Jordan on the occasion of the visit of the commander of the American Mediterranean Fleet to Jordan. They are believed to have crossed the border by mistake.
The Cairo radio today reported that Egypt has constructed the first Egyptianmade plane and a second plane has already been tested. The report said the new Egyptian plant can produce two planes a week.
