Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon warned Iraq that Israel would respond if it is dragged into the war. In remarks broadcast Thursday on Israel Radio, Sharon stressed that Israel is “not involved in this war.” But he went on to say that if attacked, “the State of Israel is prepared to defend itself.”
