Jacob J. Kaplan, Boston attorney, was elected president of the Associated Jewish Philanthropies at a meeting of the board of trustees this week, it was announced here today. He succeeds Judge Abraham K. Cohen who was selected honorary president. Other officers elected are Milton Kahn, first vice-president; Reuben B. Gryzmish, Samuel Markell, Judge Abraham E. Pinanski, Sidney Rabinovitz, Irving Usen and F. Frank Vorenberg, vice presidents; Casper M. Grosberg, treasurer; Joseph Rabinovitz, assistant treasurer; Jacob L. Wiseman, secretary.
