Jewish Farmers in Poland Get Unrra Horses; More Jews to Be Settled on Farms

Fifty horses given to Poland by UNRRA have been assigned to Jewish farmers in Silesia and Pomerania, it was announced here.

More Jews are to be settled on farms in these provinces under an agreement just negotiated between ORT and the Central Jewish Committee. A special organization has been set up to place Jews on farms and to assist those already engaged in agriculture.
