A Jewish community leader and a former Socialist mayor of Offenburg was named here today to head a new “Committee to Combat the Enemies of Democracy” which was just formed here.
The group will expose Nazi doctrine still prevalent in Germany and will concentrate its major energies toward educating the German youth along democratic lines. The new co-chairmen of the committee are Moritz Siegel, one-time director of the Frankfurt Jewish Community, and ex-Mayor Johannes Rebholz.
