Jewish Schools in Turkey to Be Exempt from Taxation; Bill Passed

The Turkish National Assembly passed today a bill exempting from taxation schools operated by minority communities. In the past only Turkish state schools enjoyed immunity from taxation. Five Jewish schools, all located in Istanbul, will benefit from the new measure.
