The Emergency Committee to Save the Jewish People of Europe today announced the formation under its auspices of a National Jewish Council the purpose of which is to seek means of saving European Jews in Nazi territory. The Council will be composed of representatives of congregations, synagogues, landsmanchaften and other groups. It will hold a three-day conference in New York the middle of next month.
