Several hundred North African Jews living in France are expected to come to Israel next month for the Maimona Festival, a centuries-old tradition of Moroccan Jews marking the final days of Passover. The visit was organized by Shaul Ben Simhon, a member of the Histadrut executive, who promoted it among North African Jews in France. Some 200 have already registered and El Al will provide transportation.
