The population of the occupied Arab territories rose by 50,000 during the past three years through natural increase, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported today. According to the report, the West Bank and Gaza Strip have a combined population of 991,000. The population of East Jerusalem rose to 72,000 from 65,000 in 1967.
