Rabbi Elmer Berger executive director of the American Council for Judaism who is visiting Syria attacked American Zionists and Israel in an interview broadcast by the Syrian Radio.
He said “that if the political and nationalistic activities of Zionism continue in the United States such action will eventually prove detrimental to the relationship between American Jews and Israel, and even between the U.S. Government and Israel.”
