The first Israel bonds in Canada will go on sale in Montreal February 1, it was announced here last night at a meeting of the United Zionist Council of Canada. The goal of the sales campaign in the Dominion is $7,000,000.
Hyman Grover, national vice-president of the Canadian Zionist Organization, will head the bond drive in Montreal. National co-chairmen of the drive are Samuel Bronfman, president of the Canadian Jewish Congress, and Edward E. Gelber, president of the Canadian Zionist Council.
