More than 150 Jewish and non-Jewish workers staged two picketing demonstrations yesterday in front of the headquarters of the Soviet delegation to the United Nations in protest against the anti-Jewish drive in the Soviet Union and the satellite countries. The pickets carried placards reading: “Stop Communist Anti-Semitism” and “End Communist Oppression of Catholics, Protestants and Jews.” The demonstrations were arranged by the Committee to Combat Soviet Religious Persecution and Genocide.
