A two-day conference of 80 representatives of Jewish committees of all the DP camps in the American zone concluded here today.

The conference discussed the problems which are now emerging as a result the forced transfer of displaced Jews from one camp to another, particularly the transfers at Fuerth, Bamberg and Stuttgart. It also heard reports from delegates on contentious demonstrations which broke out in all camps demanding that German police could be disarmed before entering Jewish camps.

A mass-meeting which was scheduled to be held here last night in connection with the conference was cancelled at the request of the military authorities. The meeting was called to protest the forced transfer of displaced Jews, as well as the treatment of Jewish refugees by German police.

The conference heard a report from the Stuttgart delegate on the circumstances order which Samuel Danziger, a displaced Jew, was killed by the German police during raid on the Stuttgart camp last week. The delegate reported that the policemen sundered Jewish homes after they entered the camp with police dogs in the early hours the morning.

Preparations for Passover observances are now being made in all camps; it was ported at the conference. Most of the Jews in the camps are already provided with Matzohs. A special kosher kitchen will be opened in Munich within a few days to provide sedorim for several hundred Jews in the Munich area who reside outside of camps.
