Two features of the Jewish problem in Poland have been settled to the satisfaction of the Jewish population, according to a statement issued by Foreign Minister Zaleski, to the representative of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency here.
The Minister informed the correspondent that he replied to a question from Lucien Wolf, secretary of the Anglo-Jewish Joint Foreign Committee, that the question of the so-called group of “men without a country,” involving a great number of Jews who have been resident in Poland for a long time but who have not been granted facilities to naturalize was settled by virtue of the recently issued circular concerning the acquisition of citizenship. Also, the numerus clausus was settled by the withdrawal of the secret circular of former Minister of Education Glombinski, he declared.
