16 PHYSICIANS OUSTED
Sixteen Jewish doctors employed by the State supervised sick benefit insurance company were dismissed yesterday and all Jewish clerks in the employ of the company were given notice that they would be discharged in the near future. Another group of 130 Jewish doctors employed by the concern was also threatened with dismissal.
The company’s excuse that economy demanded the discharges was shown to be untrue, when applications from non-Jews for the vacated posts were invited by the insurance company.
