Lea Michele posing for Allure

It’s been a while since we heard about Lea Michele, but the Glee star continues to remind us that she exists, and what a better way to do that than with a photoshoot where she wears sexy 1940s lingerie for Allure Magazine. Interesting decade choice, but she rocks it nonetheless.

Michele once again talked about her big nose, claiming she was inspired by Barbara Streisand, who is the “messiah for girls like me.” She also learned that being called a “diva” isn’t necessarily the most positive thing: “I came from the theater world, where the word ‘diva’ was awesome,” she continues. “But it’s different in Los Angeles. And this all happened to me so quickly.” She admits people don’t get her and her sarcastic remarks. “That’s a huge thing I learned … Not everybody knows you and has the same sense of humor. At the same time, if I couldn’t be myself, I’d lose my mind.”

Michele also talked about a fellow recurring Glee cast member, Gwyneth Paltrow, who taught her about dealing with haters: “I don’t know what people are smoking, because this woman is one of the most talented, beautiful, smart but laid-back, cool people I’ve worked with,” Michele says. “That’s what I hate about this business. Before I met her, I was intimidated because of her image. But she’s the greatest.”

So now do you feel like you’re starting to get Michele or just waiting for the next report about her being a diva?
