JTA loves itself a good wiener story. Even that one.
But is every kosher hot dog story worth reporting?
Yesterday, JTA reported that kosher hot dogs sold out in their Dec. 29 debut at a University of Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball game. According to the Chabad in Lawrence, K.S. — which operates the stand — it’s the first Kosher concession stand at a major college sports venue.
Previous JTA articles about the intersection of kosher franks and sports:

- 2004 U.S. Open
And of course, the Saudi nationals
Fine, that last one wasn’t a sports team. Which arguably makes it more interesting.
