I wrote earlier today how the Republican Jewish Coalition made the economy the only focus of its latest web ad, featuring an attack by Home Depot founder Bernie Marcus on President Obama’s jobs credibility.
It’s a notable turnaround: Democrats not so long ago would have been natural claimants to economic policy, while Republicans supposedly "owned" national security and foreign policy.
To complete the flip (and also facilitating equal blog time for the other party), the Truman National Security Project, an alliance of hawkish Democrats, is running an ad in Ohio, a swing state, featuring veterans — and depicting Romney as feckless on national security.
