Dave Weigel at Slate has audio of a second "debate" between Benjamin Netanyahu and President Obama, brought to you in a robocall by the Emergency Committee for Israel.
Weigel says it’s circulating in Wisconsin, Ohio and Virginia.
I’ve had a quick listen — at least this "debate" apparently hews to statements that really do reflect disagreements between the leaders, this time on Israel’s settlement policy.
The first "debate" posited differences between Obama and Netanyahu on Iran that a) do not exist as depicted in the robocall and b) were "proved" by two Obama statements that had nothing to do, in fuller context, with Iran’s suspected nuclear threat.
The second debate, like the first, is a fiction, and comprised of spliced quotes. ECI continues to fail to mention this in the robocall.
