A comic film about an Orthodox superhero won a prize at the Berlin Jewish Film Festival. In “The Hebrew Hammer,” written and directed by 28-year-old Los Angeles native Jonathan Kesselman, the hero and his cool black buddy, Mohammed, stop a mean Santa from destroying Chanukah.
