An Israeli Arab legislator failed to show up for police questioning regarding anti-Israel remarks he made last week at a memorial ceremony for Syrian President Hafez Assad. Returning from Syria, Azmi Beshara defiantly declared he would not retract his calls for Arabs to escalate their conflict with Israel.
