Both Aryans and Jews who have associated with each other or have been suspected of associating with each other are feeling the mailed fist of the advocates of so-called Aryan racial superiority within the past few days.
Jewish men walking with fair-haired women of the Aryan or Nordic type in the Berlin streets, have been assaulted by Nazis, as have Aryans who are seen with Jewish women. Several cases of Jews being assaulted in the streets by these defenders of racial purity were reported today, including that of Samuel Spann, a Jewish youth, with blonde hair and the type of features claimed exclusively for Aryans, who was badly beaten up by Nazis who saw him walking with a Jewish girl and mistook him for an Aryan.
A shocking case was reported here today from Danzig. A non-Jewish Danzig youth courting a Jewish girl, was followed by Nazis, who set upon him when he crossed the German frontier in his automobile. The youth was mutilated and carried back over the Danzig frontier where he was left in a serious condition.
