After seven weary years of waiting at the English equivalent of Ellis Island, a party of 30 immigrants are on their way to the United States. They are the remainder of 600, mostly Jews, who were stranded in England and interned when the quota was enforced in the United States. The last 30 have been known as lost souls who despite tremendous hardships had given up hope of ever reaching America. Every case is a most pathetic story in itself, which through the years often engaged attention in the papers.
