Iraq still might attack Israel as U.S. forces move closer to Baghdad, an Israeli general said. Gen. Amos Gilad, a spokesman for the Israel Defense Force, told the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations on Wednesday that Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein may attack Israel if he believes his life is in imminent danger.
