Israeli-Palestinian negotiations will resume Tuesday at two air force bases near Washington, according to U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. President Clinton and Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat will meet in Washington on Thursday. The summit was originally slated for Wednesday, but was delayed to allow Arafat and Albright to travel to Damascus for Tuesday’s funeral of Syrian leader Hafez Assad.
