The 1944 Montreal United Palestine Appeal and Emergency Youth Aliyah campaign has reached its quota of $250,000, according to an announcement made here today by Rabbi Jesse Schwartz, Executive Director of the Zionist Organization of Canada and of the Canadian United Palestine Appeal. Hyman Grocer, prominent Montreal communal worker and national treasurer of the Zionist Organization of Canada, was chairman of the UPA campaign which was the most successful ever held in this city.
