Pelley’s mimeographed weekly, containing what the mystic and fanatic William Dudley labels as “confidential information,” arrived in The Jewish Daily Bulletin’s office yesterday and everybody dropped copies of the latest humor magazines to take a peek and indulge in a real laugh.

The theme-song of the latest product of the Asheville, North Carolina, anti-Semite’s crystal gazings is substantially the same as previous materializations featured in the weekly.

The Jews are in control of the United States government.

President Roosevelt is a tool of these Jews.

Mr. Roosevelt is “the first Communist President of the United States.”

“SENSATIONAL” DISCLOSURES

Working these old standbys of his, Pelley has this week, however, offered his readers something truly sensational and climactic. The Silvershirt leader, with the “aid” of the Chicago Tribune, presents the discovery that the virus of Communism is being openly introduced into America by the President and his Jewish behind-the-throners through the innocent-looking medium of the Norris Dam project in Tennessee.

The Chicago Tribune is brought into the picture in two places. An editorial, described by Pelley as “terse and well-spiced,” which appeared in the Tribune November 4, is quoted as “proof” of the Communist charge leveled at the Norris project.

Not content with quoting the editorial, Pelley modestly takes full credit for having educated Cole R. R. McCormick, owner of the Chicago Tribune, to the “dangers” of the situation.

“Perhaps,” he writes parenthetically, “the fact that for almost one solid year Col. McCormick has been a consistent reader of Liberation (defunct Silvershirt organ) had something to do with the attention which his newspaper is giving this innocuous Norris ‘experiment.'”

The editorial in question announced that because the TVA refused to confirm of deny certain reports in connection with the Norris work.

“There is no longer room to doubt that at Norris the Communism of Lenin and Stalin has taken root in the United States, for

“No man in Norris may engage in private business.

“No man in Norris may work for wages except for the government.

“No man in Norris may worship in church or build a church to worship in, according to his conscience.

“Can anyone doubt that in the inaccessible mountains of Tennessee is being grown the germ culture that is intended to infect America.”

Pelley in many thousand words flatly says he for one doesn’t doubt it and proceeds to prove that Mr. Roosevelt, spurred by the ever-present Jewish behind-the-throners, fully intends to spread the Communist dogma from one end of America to the other.

COMMUNISM AND ROOSEVELT

In substantiation of his charges, Pelley points {SPAN}triumphant##{/SPAN} to a speech made recently by the President on a trip of inspection to the Norris Dam.

This speech, in which Mr. Roosevelt is quoted as saying that the work at Norris “is but the prototype and forecast of what lies in store for similar communities all over the United States,” is liber-
