President Bush is pressing Israel to allow Yasser Arafat to attend this week’s Arab League summit. “The president believes it is time for Arab nations in the region to seize the moment” to discuss a Saudi proposal for Israeli-Palestinian peace, White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said.
