LGBT demonstrators block major Tel Aviv highway in start of nationwide strike to protest surrogacy law

The strike day was called by Aguda, the umbrella organization for the LGBT community in Israel, following the passage of a surrogacy law which expands eligibility to single women, but excludes single men and gay couples.
