  • After LeBron, Kobe shoots hoops with some Jews

A few weeks after LeBron James took advantage of the NBA lockout and went to play some pick-up basketball with a bunch of Cleveland JCCers, it was Kobe’s turn to show off his skills to the chosen people.
TMZ reports that the Black Mamba showed up at a JCC in Irvine, Calif., and asked to borrow the court for a private training session with a personal trainer. According to TMZ, the people at the JCC said that he “couldn’t have been nicer.”
Judging from the video, Kobe looks pretty good. The Los Angeles Lakers are expected to play the Miami Heat twice this year. Do you think Kobe and LeBron will exchange some Jewish basketball experiences?

  • Mila Kunis had a ball with the Marines

Yet another celebrity made it to the 236th annual Marine Corps Ball this weekend. This time it was GQ’s Man of the Year Mila Kunis, who followed Justin Timberlake’s footsteps as the distinguished date of Sgt. Scott Moore at the Greenville, N.C. ball.
Reminder: a few months ago, Sgt. Moore of the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, posted a short YouTube clip asking Kunis to accompany him to this year’s ball. It took a few months until the clip became viral, but it eventually created an interesting trend of people asking celebrities out online. Justin Timberlake and Kristin Cavallari attended the balls. Scarlett Johansson and Betty White had to pass. Last week, we reported that a girl who is currently battling cancer asked Joseph Gordon-Levitt out after watching “50/50.” More ▸

  • Lea Michele sporting the 40s look

It’s been a while since we heard about Lea Michele, but the Glee star continues to remind us that she exists, and what a better way to do that than with a photoshoot where she wears sexy 1940s lingerie for Allure Magazine. Interesting decade choice, but she rocks it nonetheless. Michele once again talked about her big… More ▸
