The International Olympic Committee has written to Beatie Deutsch saying “the scheduling of events to cater for religious practices is just not something we can accommodate.”
The British player said she was denied admission to the host club, which traditionally gives a lifetime membership to Wimbledon winners, because of anti-Semitism.
