Belfast City Council calls for Israeli ambassadors to be expelled from UK and Ireland

Outside Ireland’s Foreign Ministry in Dublin, pro-Palestinian students and activists staged a sit-in urging the country to expel the Israeli ambassador.

London Jewish schoolteachers quit union over pro-Palestinian stance

One Jewish teacher resigned from a non-Jewish school following harassment by students whom she said tried to pin Palestinian flags in her hair.

These days David Hertz is a world leader in turning food into social change. He had to reconcile his Jewish identity first.

“I struggled a lot to accept the Jewishness inside of me,” said Hertz, a co-founder of the Social Gastronomy movement. “I always thought that I lived a deep-rooted prejudice for being gay.”
